Francisco Centofanti

Born in London 1976.

Francisco has been a professional painter for over twenty years, following his training at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy.

His work explores the structure of landscape through light, atmosphere, and tonal harmony — combining traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary sensitivity to mood and place. Working both en plein air and in the studio, he develops paintings that move from direct observation toward more distilled, enduring statements.

His paintings are held in private collections in New York, Washington DC, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Tokyo, Paris, Stockholm, Florence, and London.

“Francisco Centofanti is a fabulous artist. I particularly love his landscape paintings — he captures light and colours brilliantly.”
